…Allah The Almighty is the Forgiving, the Merciful… [Photo Source]

As-Sarawaki, 18 July 2008 (Updated): Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah The Almighty! Thank you Allah for all your grace! Thank you Allah for blessing us with life. Thank you Allah for blessing us with Islam and Iman. Thank you Allah for blessing us with Muhammad Rasul Allah. Thank you Allah for giving me what I have today. Thank you Allah for everything!

In this entry, I am more than happy to share with fellow visitors a ‘Question and Answer’ article on Allah’s love. I found this article to be a truly inspirational writing that would touch the hearts of every Muslim about the greatness true love of The Almighty Allah Azza Wajalla. Kindly read it full-heartedly…

Question:

I am hoping perhaps you could answer a question of mine. The other day I was debating a Christian about God’s love. I myself am a former Christian, now Muslim. He asked me if Allah’s Love was unconditional and I was stumped, because in the Qur’an it says God does not love those who do evil. So I am confused, is God’s Love based on Doing Good, or is His love unconditional? If it is based on doing Good, does that mean when I make mistakes and sin, he stops loving me? I am hoping you could answer this or give me a link to a site that can. I hope its not a dumb question, I am just confused on this issue. Thank you. – Nooradeen

Answer:

No, this is not a dumb question. The only dumb thing is not to ask when you have a question.

As Christians would say that God loves the sinner but hates the sin and it is true in Islam too. (selanjutnya…)

Mari Memahami

Seek First To Understand, Then To Be Understood!

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” karangan Stephen R. Covey.

Atas faktor “Seek First To Understand, Then To Be Understood” inilah maka saya beriya-iya mendapatkan buku “The Broken Shield: The Birth of Dayakism” karangan Encik Joseph Sipi ak Tawie dan teruja membeli buku “Rahsia Islam di China: Gemilang di Sebalik Tembok Besar” karangan Ustaz Ann Wan Seng.

‘Eidul Adha

Gambar Kenangan Selepas Honeymoon.. Everyday Is A Happy Moment!

As-Sarawaki, 12 Mac 2008: Alhamdulillah ‘ala kulli hal.

Semoga kerja menjadi ibadah…

(selanjutnya…)

Previous Entry: Young Achievers: Say ‘Can Do’ To Be A Success

Source: NST Online (July 22, 2007)

New Sunday Times, Focus: His parents were illiterate and he grew up in poverty. But this young engineer pressed on to become the best that he could be. Now he is helping others to do well, writes DAVID YEOW.

“NO one can go back in time to make a new beginning but you can start from now to create your own happy ending. Everybody has the ability to succeed provided they have a ‘can do’ spirit.”

These are some of the zen-like wisdom that Muhtar Suhaili (picture) not only spouts but has lived by for the last 25 years.

In fact “wise cracking” is Muhtar’s gift. The oldest of four children, Muhtar said that since young he had developed an uncanny ability to recognise simple truths in life and apply them.

He was so good at leading himself that he scored his way past his UPSR, PMR and SPM, gearing himself with honest hard work and personal pep talks alone.

“I also helped my dad sell fruits at the same time,” he said.

It did not take long for others to see the maturity and ability in him. Muhtar was given a scholarship by Yayasan Sarawak to study Mechatronics Engineering at International Islamic University Malaysia. He was also made Student Council’s President for a term. (selanjutnya…)

There is no god but Allah

“There is no god But ALLAH”

As-Sarawaki, 28 July 2007, 4.57pm: Alhamdulillah, I have just arrived at my house in Miri City from my kampung in Niah and I brought along Reach – Alumni Magazine of the International Islamic University Malaysia, Issue 10, January 2007 Edition. Unfortunately, as usual I received this magazine quite late, maybe because of the mail was sent to my ‘rural village’ – Lot 22, Kampung Muhibbah, Ladang 3, Niah’s address. Insya Allah I will write to the publisher ie. Alumni and Career Services Division, Office of the Deputy Rector (Student & Alumni Affairs) and IIUM Alumni Association to update them with my current details especially my postal address which is Lot 741, Jalan Pujut 9, 98000 Miri. Hopefully by doing so, I will receive the next edition of this magazine on time, rather than keep reading the outdated version of it.

With the theme “Reaching and Enjoining Alumni to Contribute to Humanity”, I absolutely of the view that this magazine shall help the graduates cum alumni keeping in contact with the Garden of Knowledge and Virtue. I found a lot of news, articles, information, interviews, events and activities are published in this magazine which I believe are beneficial to serve as a means for the IIUM gradutes in achieving the mission to be the agent of change, bringing about prosperity, well being and harmony in their community. In short, it’s really taking me back to my alma mater!

There are a lot of interesting articles to read. However, the most interesting one that strike my soul and mind is the poem by the honourable ex-Rector of IIUM, Tan Sri Prof. Muhammad Kamal Hassan titled “SMS to Sir Muhammad Iqbal”. Alhamdulillah, I had the opportunity to see Prof. Muhammad Kamal himself reciting this poem with full of wisdom, enlightment and expression in one function in IIUM 3 years back. For me, this poem represents an original Islamic principle and thoughts that preach the true sentiments of today’s Muslims. It’s all about the winter of Islam and the spring to come! After all, let us plan the best strategy, make a struggle and pray that by the will of Allah, the long-awaited spring is not far off! Amiin Ya Rabbal ‘Alamin.

SMS to Sir Muhammad Iqbal

By: Prof Muhammad Kamal Hassan

O Iqbal!

The spring of 2002 beckoned my soul and body;

to witness the Muslim remains of Alhambra, Cordova and Sevilla,

to retrace your noble steps and feel the vibrations of your ecstasy,

to feast my aging vision on the haunting grandeur of Alhambra and relish the marchless beauty of Moorish art… (selanjutnya…)

As-Sarawaki, 27 Julai 2007: Alhamdulillah, segala puji-pujian selamanya milik Allah SWT Yang Maha Kuasa. Sungguh.. Allah adalah segala-galanya!

Kadang-kadang Allah sembunyikan matahari…
Dia datangkan petir dan kilat…
Kita menangis dan tertanya-tanya,
Ke mana hilangnya sinar…
Rupa-rupanya.. Allah nak hadiahkan kita pelangi..

Yang dihilangkan dari mata, tidak mengapa. Jangan kita kehilangan rasa!

Yang dihilangkan dari dunia, tidak mengapa. Jangan kita kehilangan Syurga!

Surah Al-Ikhlas

“Al-Qur’an Al-Kariim, Surah Al-Ikhlas”

Dengan nama Allah, Yang Maha Pemurah, lagi Maha Mengasihani.

  1. Katakanlah: (Tuhanku) ialah Allah Yang Maha Esa.
  2. Allah Yang menjadi tumpuan sekalian makhluk untuk memohon sebarang hajat.
  4. Dan tidak ada sesiapapun yang serupa denganNya.

And you are out of your mind

Remember just remember
